It has been my honor to serve you for the past eight years as your State Representative. This position holds tremendous responsibility and each decision made has a direct impact on the great people of Oklahoma. I had the privilege of meeting and listening to most of you and many of you have visited me at the Capitol. We are working together to prepare the future for our children right here in the panhandle area of Oklahoma.
Things move quickly in the House of Representatives and the learning curve is enormous. In eight short years I have moved from a freshman in the minority to leadership position in the majority party. I have held this postition for the past six years. Also, I have been the acting Speaker, Speaker Pro Tempore and the chairman of two different committees, member of the Energy Council, and chairman of the state wide Gang Task Force. However, my greatest honor has been to be elected for four terms to serve the people of the panhandle region.
That is why I am running for re-election, to continue to serve the people of District 61 and address the unique concerns of the panhandle area. I humbly ask for your vote in the general election November 2nd to allow the people of this area to continue to have a representative that has the experience that produces results.
